2000$ worth of 27inch Thunderbolt Monitors and I cannot daisy chain them reliably. Please help.

I've got 2000$ wrapped up in 2 Thunderbolt monitors and I cannot daisy chain them with a 3000$ 15 inch Retina macbook Pro. This is completely unacceptable and I hope someone knows how to fix it.
At certain points since June or July when I first got all the gear I got it to work but never since. The thunderbolt display is recognized but nothing appears on the screen -- this is ridiculous considering how much I dropped on this rig.
Any help would be awesome.
Thanks,
Tim

A Mini DisplayPort display or adapter will not work if plugged directly into a Thunderbolt display, but a Thunderbolt display should. If it doesn't, Apple should fix it. It might be a defective display. If swapping the display connecrions (whih is daisy chained and which is plugged into the computer) makes it work, then one is defective, but a third display will be needed to definitivly determine which.

Plug a device between the thunderbolt displays such as the thunderbolt storage. If I recall correctly there was an issue, by design, which required an intermediary thunderbolt device to be between them for this type of setup. I tried searching for the review and article but couldn't find the exact article.
I did find this similar article where a user tries to connect a simple display port monitor to his thunderbolt and resolved it with a similar "device in the middle" solution I'm recommending you try. It can be any thunderbolt device which has the separate input and output plugs for daisy chaining.

See, if you read your first post here, there is very little useful and some confusing information in there, it's mostly a rant which us other users here have difficulties dealing with.
Your second post has a lot of information, except for us here probably as useful as for yourself.
Your last post tells us how you got it to work, saving us from pointing at this workaround. At least you've got the displays to work, right? Well, in that case all your many thousands of dollars are not really wasted, aren't they.
If you cannot live with this solution but want the daisy-chaining to work (which would be fair enough, I believe), then you should really go and talk to Apple... possibly keeping in mind that it's human beings there as well, and that ranting and yelling won't make their jobs of helping you not easier, either.
If you tried that peaceful and cooperative approach already but without success, you should probably contact Apple's customer service.
If this suggestion is really not helpful for you, then I'm really sorry, but maybe someone else can explain better what a warranty period is good for.

I talked to them back in June/July when I got this stuff. They had no explanation so I was hoping that a software fix would help. Since then I've just been using BOTH of my thunderbolt ports on the MBPr to get them to work. Thanks for the non-helpful suggestion seeing the AASP is completely worthless.

If you had it working but are now insisting it is the "gear's" fault, then you should contact an AASP as you are still within the warranty period.
