Everyone please help me out. I have connected to a PPTP VPN using my mac os x 10.5.8 laptop, unfortunately I can't access the internet while connected at the VPN. What should I do to solve this problem? Thank you

Hi.
In Preferences - > Network, click on the VPN account you've set up and then the Advanced button. This should bring up your Options pane. Uncheck "Send all traffic over VPN connection" and then test your connection and internet access. If it works, then you've successfully enabled split-tunneling. If it doesn't work, go back and check the VPN settings. If the "Send all traffic" is once again checked, it's likely that the security policy of the VPN server is forcing all your traffic through the connection.
If that's the case, all you can do is contact the administrator of the VPN server and request that your settings be changed.
