I used to use the Mac. How different are the PowerMac menus from those of Windows OS?

The mac OS is consistant. Drag & Drop works for all files. The dock has replaced start menu. You have to set up dock for new application you may install. It's drag and drop. Don't have to administor OS.
None of the demoware seen in windows. Not all the these worthless warning messages. Like: Where is your virus checker, windows found a new flash drive and now windows will configure it.
relieable. No registry. Auto defragmentation of HD. Only MS office throws things all over the place. I have had to restore my system only once in ten years.
Fun to use. I have had to restore my system only once in ten years.

Hello,
They're pretty different, after a short while the Mac will be easier, key is to not expect it to work like Windows... I use both.
I think these may answer some of your questions...
